As a member of Virginia Master Naturalist, I have been excited to find out just how much I don't know.

The natural world is so vast, complex, fragile, powerful, amazing, interdependent, brilliant, fascinating and there's just no way to know it all; but it sure is fun discovering something new every day! And I am challenged to find new ways to support it and talk about it.

As a regular volunteer at Hungry Mother State Park, I'm honored to occasionally write a little something about what they're doing to promote a greater understanding of and closer relationship with the natural world. Hopefully we'll bump into each other in a state park soon!
